A unique splendid 7.5 acres of landscaped gardens located around the Valletta and Floriana fortifications where you can enjoy great views of the surroundings. Here you find the fantastic infinity pool and it’s highly recommended.

A few years ago, the hotel was beautifully refurbished. It has everything you could wish for a pleasant stay in Malta.

The Location

The Phoenicia Hotel is hard to beat, to our way of thinking. The central location of the hotel is amazing just outside the fortification walls surrounded by splendid views of the Grand Harbour. From the other side all Sliema areas across the Marsamxett Harbour. The views extend up till Mdina. Just outside the hotel you find the bus terminus, public and private carparks. A few minutes-walk you can reach the centre of the capital with many shops, restaurants, museums and cultural attractions.

Style and Character

The distinguished building of the hotel built in typical Maltese architecture is a remarkable contrast to the baroque architecture and massive fortifications of the capital. It enhances the approach area to the capital, apart from the surrounding landscaped public garden areas.

On approaching the main entrance you meet the impressive entrance with limestone pillared portico, then as soon as you enter the Palm Court lounge and bar is the hotel’s core areas surrounded by 1930's white and glass British style doors leading to other amenities of the hotel.
